Cupcakes, Bunco and Business Updates

Our first Cocktails & Cupcakes event was a huge success thanks to Justine from Treats and Sweets Cakery and Guiseppe's Steel City Pizza. And if you're reading this, then you have insider information... We've already booked our next class with Justine! We're doing Halloween Cocktails & Cupcakes on Tuesday, October 24, just in time for you to pick up "tricks" for making special "treats" for your Halloween parties the following week! I'm sure this class will sell out, too, so book in advance! Maybe we should encourage costumes...?

The next event we have coming up is a Ladies' Night Bunco Party on Saturday, August 12. Bunco has been a popular dice game among the Craig Family ladies for decades, so we thought we'd bring the fun to the distillery! Tickets are only $20 and include cocktails and desserts. Don't worry, if you've never played before you won't be the only one. We'll review instructions before we get started and it's easy enough to pick up quickly!

We get asked almost daily how business is going, so I thought this might be a good time to include that information here. This past month we picked up our 11th ABC Liquor store (Lake Mary) and our 2nd Total Wine & Spirits location (Melbourne)! Although events at the distillery are fun and help build awareness here locally, distribution is really the name of the game in the distilling business.

Beginning August 1, we will have distribution available in the Tampa area and that will be huge for us! Mark and Joanne (our CEO and CFO) are from Tampa and will be working hard to pick up new retailers and restaurants on the west coast. The best thing you can do to help us on either (or both!) coast is to ask for Copper Bottom Rum and Vodka everywhere you go. If the restaurant or liquor store doesn't sell our products, ask them to start offering it! And then order it when you can! If you're getting a rum & coke anyway, why not make it a Copper Bottom Rum & Coke?
