Florida Distillery Bill Passes

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has passed the long-awaited distillery bill that allows Florida craft distilleries to sell cocktails inside their tasting rooms. This will be a game-changer for our family-owned distillery as we implement this new law beginning Thursday, July 1, 2021.

At first, we will begin offering simple cocktails that can be easily constructed between tours & tastings. Eventually, we plan to roll out a craft cocktail menu along with changes to our tasting room that include a more cocktail lounge-type setting.

Our family was featured on Fox35 Orlando to make the announcement, and the response has been overwhelming! You can watch the featured clip below.

In addition to cocktails, this bill affords Florida distilleries the option to sell bottles off-site at flea markets and festivals. It also removes the restricting six-bottle limit that has previously limited distilleries from selling more than 6 bottles to an individual in a single year.

On Saturday, July 3 from 12-7 p.m., we are inviting the community to come out for a celebration cocktail party where we will sell drinks during open business hours. The menu options are minimal at this time until we are set up for cocktails in our daily operation.

Thank you to the community, elected officials, and fellow distilleries like St. Pete and St. Augustine for helping push this bill into law. It has been a long time coming and we are so grateful for the support of our community as we expand our business!
